| Description: | Pull out the wagons, bikes and strollers, find your flags, streamers and stars, put on your best patriotic gear, and get ready for the 1st annual Clay Woods Kid & Pet Parade! CWHOA’s inaugural parade to celebrate Independence Day is planned for the evening of July 3 at 7pm. Kids young and old, and their leashed pets, are welcome to walk or ride in the parade. Only human or battery operated transportation is permitted as participants will be sticking to the sidewalks. The CWHOA board will have a judging table set up in front of Bob Elliott’s house to award prizes for the best decorated transportation, most creatively dressed kid, best dressed pet, and more. All Clay Woods neighbors are encouraged to line the parade route and show your support. Date: Evening of Wednesday, July 3 6:30pm: Parade staging in the Clay Woods pool parking for participants and pets 7:00pm: Parade starts Parade Route: Start at Rosewood Court and circle the Clay Woods Villas, head East on Claywoods Drive, turn right on Butternut Lane, turn left on Cottonwood Lane, stop in front of 602 Cottonwood Lane to be awarded prizes, turn left on Claywoods Drive and return to Clay Woods pool. |
